Dr. Jeet Garud

I am a Specialist General Practitioner and Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor, dedicated to the prevention, early detection, and treatment of skin cancer. I hold a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) degree from the University of Queensland, a comprehensive postgraduate qualification focused on the diagnosis and management of skin cancers using both surgical and non-surgical techniques. I am a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) and the International Dermoscopy Society. Additionally, I have completed a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, a Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery, and a Diploma in Dermoscopy. With a special interest in surgical procedures within primary care, I regularly perform skin cancer excisions—including complex cases requiring flaps and grafts—as well as the removal of benignskin lesions, cysts, and nail wedge excisions. I work closely with plastic surgeons and dermatologists to ensure my patients receive the highest standard of integrated skin care.
Beyond skin cancer, I have a keen interest in the management of hair loss and a wide range of dermatological conditions commonly seen in primary care. I am committed to providing thorough, patient-centred care and empowering my patients with the knowledge and support they need to achieve and maintain healthy skin.
