The images create a comprehensive visual record of your skin, moles, and spots, which are stored securely and compared at future visits to identify new lesions or changes in existing ones. The FotoFinder imaging system includes an inbuilt AI assistant that supports clinicians in the evaluation of both pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions using advanced deep-learning algorithms. This AI technology can detect subtle changes or new lesions over time, sometimes before they are noticeable to you or your doctor. Baseline imaging is suitable for anyone and is strongly recommended for individuals at higher risk of melanoma, including those with a personal or family history of melanoma, multiple atypical moles, a personal history of skin cancer, fair skin, or significant past sun exposure.
